Overpopulation is a generally undesirable
condition where an organism's numbers exceed the carrying capacity of its
habitat. The term often refers to the relationship between the human population
and its environment, the Earth. Over the third century the number of human
beings had increased tremendously and it raised many concerns among high level
officials that the earth's resources may not able to sustain the human basis
of life.
However, overpopulation may not only occurred on
human being but can also happen on other living organisms such as plants,
animals and even microorganism. This briefly described the definition of
overpopulation and its relationship between living organism especially human
beings and the planet earth.
